The teams from the Illinois Plasma Institute and CPMI, including professors David Ruzic and Dren Qerimi, and graduate students Jeremy Mettler, Tag Choi, Emily Greene, Parker Hays, Nick Connolly, and Zachary Jackell had the privilege of presenting their latest research at the 70th Annual American Vacuum Society Conference in Tampa, Florida. Held from November 3rd to 8th, 2024 at the Tampa Convention Center, the conference focused on emerging topics related to materials, processing, and interfaces.
Some of the presentations included Emily Greene’s “Investigation of stannane (SnH4) decomposition and sticking coefficient on varied metal surfaces”, Parker Hays’ “Evolution of graphene nanoflake size in atmospheric pressure microwave plasma”, and Tag Choi’s “Ion Energy Distribution F unction of Ti and N2 using High-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering with Positive Cathode Reversal”.
The entire team was proud to showcase their work and connect with fellow researchers in the field at another great AVS conference!
